Items that are special order cannot be returned or cancelled once the order is placed. Michael's Appliance Center will advise you of which items are affected before the order is placed.
Backorders are not cancellable; they are treated the same as special orders. Michael's Appliance Center will advise you of which items are affected before placing an item on backorder.
All factory and extended warranties and service for online purchases are the responsibility of the manufacturer and/or the extended service company. It is the responsibility of the consumer to contact and arrange service if required. Michael's Appliance Center does not offer in-home service to online purchases.

The List Price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in every area on any particular day. For certain items that are offered as a set, the List Price may represent "open-stock" prices, which means the aggregate of the manufacturer's estimated or suggested retail price for each of the items included in the set.
We cannot confirm the price of an item until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Major appliances will be delivered curbside or into the driveway of your home only. This delivery option includes only single-man delivery. The shipping company will contact you directly to arrange the date and approximate time for delivery.
This service does not include stairs/steps. Stairs/steps (regardless of size) require two-man White Glove service.
This service does not include removal of debris or old appliances.
Customer is responsible for uncrating and verifying no damage before delivery leaves. Once delivery waiver is signed sale is final.
Someone 18 years of age or older capable of uncrating, checking and signing for the delivery MUST be present when delivery arrives. If no one is available or delivery personnel determine that the delivery cannot be appropriately checked the delivery will not be made and redelivery charges will apply.
This delivery option includes two-man delivery to the room of your choice.
Customer is responsible for preparing home for delivery BEFORE arrival: pathways cleared, removal of obstacles (Including but not limited to doors, gates, furniture, etc.), proper clearances, etc. If the home is not ready delivery will not be attempted and redelivery charges will apply. IT IS THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE DELIVERY PERSONNEL TO DETERMINE IF HOME IS ADEQUATELY PREPARED OR NOT, NO EXCEPTIONS.
This service provides for delivery to the first-floor room of your choice.
This service includes stairs/steps up to the first floor of your home only. Additional flights of stairs/steps incur extra charges.
This service includes uncrating the appliance to facilitate delivery into the home.
This service does not include removal of debris or old appliances.
Customer is responsible for verifying no damage before delivery leaves. Once delivery waiver is signed sale is final.
Someone 18 years of age or older capable of checking and signing for the delivery MUST be present when delivery arrives. If no one is available or delivery personnel determine that the delivery cannot be appropriately checked the delivery will not be made and redelivery charges will apply.
If no one is available, delivery personnel determine that the delivery cannot be appropriately checked or you request the driver to come back at a later time there will be a second delivery charge equal to the first. Redelivery dates/times will be solely at the discretion of Michael's Appliance Center.
Small items (IE countertop microwaves, vacuum cleaners, trim kits, etc.) will be shipped via common carrier (UPS, FEDEX, USPS) whenever possible.
Small items shipped via common carrier will have flat rates applied. This flat rate is generally $30.00 for small appliances and $9.00 for small accessories. You will be advised of the exact rate and shipping method before order is placed.
Items shipped via common carrier have several options:
Some exceptionally large items (refrigerators, ranges) may have additional delivery fees attached. These charges will not show in the shopping cart; we will review and advise before finalizing your order.
Extraneous delivery services (crane service, ferry, all-wheel drive, etc.) will incur an additional fee. It is the responsibility of the consumer to advise Michael's Appliance of special services required BEFORE the order is placed. Proper delivery methods will be contracted and the consumer advised of the fees incurred. These fees will be charged to the consumer regardless of delivery success, and will be re-charged for each subsequent delivery attempt.
Weekend or specific-time delivery is available at extra charge. Michael's appliance will determine the fee at time request for this service is made.
Remote locations incur extra delivery charges. A location is considered remote if it is greater than 60 miles from a major airport city. The presence of an airport alone does not constitute a location being a major city.
